Last year, over there in April of two fans in the world through their tandem Blogs ( entandempelscanalsdereg.blogspot.com and tandem-total.blogspot.com ) we had the idea to prepare a meeting of people coming out with these bikes, both mountain and road bike grace was to gather a little views and with little tradition in our country.
The idea came with the intention to gather the maximum possible tandems lovers, take a short tour with our machines, exchange views and make breakfast. First it was necessary to find an easy route because we did not know the level of people who had neither the tandems, the concentration was on the greenway from Girona, the town wanted, the day did not accompany us at all because it rained even so we will meet about 7 tandems and due to bad weather and had people who did not come.
This year we are back to wrap and organize the 2nd Meeting of tandems, on 6 September, the venue is the area of \u200b\u200bthe Penedes , rural area where there are many roads paved, quiet roads surrounded by vineyards and the scenery is fantastic, plus the route we will harvest in full and we can enjoy the smells and colors of this work.
The site chosen for the concentration and output is the village Castle ( Castellet i la Gornal ) near the Pantano Foix, a quiet and picturesque. Here we leave the cars in the parking lot behind the village and begin a route, first for a stretch of road and then paved roads leading to the interior of this region full of farms, vineyards and countryside. We have chosen a middle path
about 40 km the area is fairly flat, but there are some easy climb, the route is paved, most of the route passes through narrow paved runways between vineyards, this means that is suitable for all types of tandems (road and mountain).
